QR Hero bills at the organisation level with admin-managed plans, a prepaid wallet, and transparent invoices.

#Plans and entitlements

Plans bundle feature flags (custom domains, routing rules, API access, scan limits). Your active plan appears on the dashboard and in Settings → Organisation. Upgrades apply new entitlements immediately; downgrades may restrict features on renewal.

#Prepaid wallet

The unified wallet funds:

• Print orders and add-on services
• API metering overage
• AI usage when enabled
• Manual top-ups from billing

View balance and ledger entries on Billing. Low-balance banners appear on the dashboard when automatic overage is disabled.

#Overage modes

Organisation owners configure overage per resource (codes, scans, seats, API calls):

• Block — stop creating resources when limits hit
• Allow with wallet — continue and deduct credits
• Invoice — accumulate billable overage on the next cycle (when enabled by admin policy)

#Invoices and tax

Invoices list line items with tax breakdown computed by QR Hero’s own tax engine (not Stripe Tax). Download PDF copies from billing history. VAT ID validation may run for EU/UK B2B customers.

#Coupons

Apply coupon codes during registration or on open invoices. Types include percentage discounts, fixed amounts, and wallet credits. Redemptions are once-per-organisation unless the coupon allows multiples.

#Payment methods

Add cards on the registration card-setup step or later from billing. Multiple gateway instances (Stripe regions, manual bank transfer) can be enabled by your platform admin.

#Plan changes and pro-rata

Mid-cycle upgrades generate pro-rata credits/charges on a settlement invoice. Downgrades typically apply at period end — check the confirmation modal before confirming.
