PDF codes open a hosted document — ideal for spec sheets, instruction manuals, and compliance PDFs that change frequently.
Create a PDF code
- Choose Create code → PDF.
- Upload a PDF within your plan’s file-size limits.
- Choose inline view vs download behaviour and optional prelander message.
- Save and test on mobile — large files may take longer on cellular networks.
Replacing documents
Upload a new file version in the editor. The QR image stays identical while recipients always receive the latest PDF on scan.
Accessibility
Provide a HTML summary or link page alternative when the PDF is not mobile-readable. Screen-reader users benefit from structured headings inside the PDF itself.
Storage and retention
Files respect your organisation retention settings. Deleted codes remove public access but may remain in backups per the GDPR guide.
