Social codes open the native app when installed, falling back to the mobile web profile when not.

#Supported platforms

QR Hero supports major networks including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Telegram, and more. Pick the platform in the editor and paste your handle or profile URL.

#Create a social code

1. Choose Create code → Social.
2. Select the platform and enter the profile URL or username.
3. Attach a brand for consistent QR styling.
4. Save and test on both iOS and Android — store policies differ per network.

#Campaign tracking

Pair social codes with Tracking groups or UTM parameters on adjacent dynamic links when you need funnel analytics beyond raw scan counts.

#Best practices

• Use platform-native short URLs where available to reduce broken deep links after app updates.
• Refresh codes when you rebrand handles — old QR images can be edited to new destinations if you use dynamic redirect wrappers alongside social deep links.
